Stellaris workshop mods not downloading

I do not know when it stopped working but I noticed it a week ago. I already reached out to Steam Support for help but they could not locate the root cause of the issue. Try asking Steam to verify the local Stellaris files for you. This also verifies your Stellaris mod files. If that doesn't help you might want to try going to your Steam installation location and then to \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\ and deleting the folder, which is where Stellaris keeps the mod files.
